Kaylee {3 years old}

I am in denial that I am writing this write now. My baby girl is 3 years old! WTH! The past three years have literally flown by and here I am with a little girl, not a baby, not a toddler. She's growing up right before our eyes and into an adorably smart young lady!

Stats::

Height: 37 inches (38th %tile)

Weight: 30 lbs (42nd %tile)

Teeth: All her baby teeth. 

Clothes: 3T

{Signature moves}

She love to play doctor. We all get about 15 check ups a day and numerous amounts of shots. She is recently afraid of the dark, which means midnight waking's. Which are not fun for mom or dad. She says the most adorable things, including telling us we are her best friend! Awhh. 

{Favorite food}

A few of her favorites are waffles, yogurt, grapes, strawberries, cheeseburgers, french fries, granola bars, oatmeal, fruit snacks, hot dogs, noodles, cheese, peanut butter and corn. 

{Favorite activities}

She loves gymnastics! She is in the 3 year old class now and she does it all by herself out there! So big! She loves to buckle herself into her car seat and she LOVES to go shopping. She also loves to be outside, when I tell her it's too cold to go outside she says "but we can put on our coats and hats!" She loves a good dance party! Loves when we turn music on and dance around! Holding and "helping" with Jordan, even when he doesn't want her to hold him!

{Least favorite activities}

Being told "No". She has entered the age of the temper tantrum. The terrible threes. It's not my favorite. But, her sweet moments outweigh the bad ones!

{Favorite sayings}
"sooooo" and also repeating anything we say! She loves to sing. Some of her favorite songs are twinkle twinkle little star, Shakey Shakey (Taylor Swift: Shake it off), Let it go, Daddy finger, Farmer and the Dell and Sunshine 

{Learning}

She knows all her letters and numbers (1-15). She can recognize all the letters and numbers (1-10). She can trace numbers and mazes. She knows 1-5 in Spanish. She knows a TON of songs and cheers. And she can spell her name out loud. Currently practicing 10-20 counting and recognizing. 6-10 in Spanish and tracing her letters.

{Misc}

{3rd Birthday}
For her birthday. Chad is building a bunch of new stuff for the playroom. Storage racks, a "zoo", a doctor station and a market stand! She had a big party with all her family and friends. It was Doc McStuffins themed, her favorite. She wore her doctor's jacket that she got for her birthday! She had a ton of fun celebrating with everyone and eating CAKE!

{Christmas}
Christmas was so much fun this year. She got really into Santa and the spirit of things. She asked for a doctor's kit, which was her favorite! She also got a soccer ball and goal, play doh, clothes, swim suit, Doc McStuffins ambulance, books, and legos!

 {Dress up}
This is probably her newest favorite thing! She got a bunch of dress up for her birthday including: Doc McStuffins, Elsa, Tiana and Rapunzel.

 {Halloween}

Kaylee wanted to be a minion for Halloween this year. She was really into Despicable Me at the time (and still likes to watch it from time to time)! She was the cutest Minion on the block! Her and dad carved pumpkins which she loved and obviously trick-or-treat was her favorite thing ever!

 {Pacifier} 

Shortly after her birthday we made her give up her paci. She actually did remarkably well! Basically didn't give us much trouble and even went right to sleep the first night without it. She does wake up earlier in the mornings, which kinda stinks but so proud of her for giving it up without a fight! I think that I was dreading it more than she was!

Baby J {9 Months}

9 Month Favorites::

Waking up - This is his best/favorite time of day. Right after he wakes up in the AM or right after his naps. Extra happy and smiley! 

Walker - Finally learning to use it. Although, he does love his sister just to push him around in it! 

Stats:: 

Height: 28 inches (35th %tile)

Weight: 19.5 lbs (40th %tile)

Teeth: 2! His second tooth is finally popping threw after only having one tooth for over a month!

Clothes: 9 month! Some of the 9 month pants are already starting to be too small.

Signature Moves:: 

Being Chased - He loves when we come after him. He tries to "run" away and hide. He thinks it hilarious when we do finally get him!

Chewing - Everything goes in him mouth. E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G

Jabbering - He loves to say "dada" and recently added "baba" to his favorites. Still no "mama" no matter how hard I try!

Sleeping::

{Night time} 
He sleeps through the night. 6:15-6:00 (+/- 20 minutes). A couple nights this past month he has been up once. We think this was him cutting that second tooth! 

{Naps}

He takes two naps, morning and afternoon. A typical day looks like this: 
6:00 awake 
7:00 breakfast (baby food/puffs)
8:00 bottle/nap
10:00 awake
10:30 bottle
11:30 lunch (baby food/finger food)
1:00 bottle/nap
2:30 awake
4:00 bottle
6:00 bath
6:15 bottle/bed

Eating::

He is still eating the Alimentium. We were hoping to get him on Soy formula but unfortunately a trial of soy didn't go so well! He loves baby food most of the time. I've been putting jars into pouches and he just sucks them right down! Favorites include: Pears/Pea, Peach/Green Bean, Banana/Squash, Apples/Carrot, and Mango/Sweet Potato.
Started some table food: Pears, Strawberries, Apples, Puffs, and Beans.

This is such a fun age. I remember this being one of my favorite of Kaylee's stages. He is so funny, smiley and fun! Loves interacting with us, climbing on us and playing! Starting to take in the world around him and learn, learn, learn!

We love you little man! You are so much fun! I feed you every night before bed in your room and soak in every moment of you being this little because I know it won't last! I LOVE to kiss your cheeks and everyone that meets you comments on how cute and chubby those cheeks are! You are my sweet little guy! 

Baby J {8 Months}

Holy cow, this month was big for this little nugget!  I cannot believe it is 2017 and he will be 1 year old in a few short months! My baby is growing too fast!

8 Month Favorites::

Puffs - He loves these things. I think he could eat a can a day if we let him.

Teeth: He got his first tooth last week!

Clothes: Mostly 9 month stuff, although it's still a bit big on him. Most of the 6 month stuff is just a bit too small.

Signature Moves:: 

{Talking}
First words: Dada! He will talk, talk, talk. All that adorable baby babble! I love it.

{Clapping}

Last week he started clapping! It's so so cute! We all cheer for him which just makes him clap more!

Sleeping::

{Night time} 

 He pretty much sleeps through the night! Aside from the night that he got his first tooth, he is sleeping about 6:15-6:00!

{Naps}

We have recently in the last week or so he has started to spread his naps out a bit, which helps in the evening, he's not as tired! He talks 2 naps at 8:00 and 1:00. The morning nap is usually longer, about 2.5 hours and the afternoon nap is about 1.5 hours.

Eating::

He is still eating the Alimentium Hypoallergenic Formula. He does about 5 bottles during the day. He eats 6 oz bottles at each feeding.

Favorite Foods: Bananas, Sweet Potatoes, Apples, Pears, Puffs!

We retried soy, about 2 oz of soy yogurt. He spent the night vomiting... Will retry again in a few months.

{New Year}

Jordan rang in 2017 sleeping! Just like his parents! Haha!

Everyone says you are the sweetest baby! You really are! You are so easy going. You play by yourself, you entertain yourself. You love to eat and LOVE your sister. She says you are her best friend! ;) We all love you so much!

Baby J {7 Months}

 

2016 is in the books and boy did it go quickly! Jordan is 7 months old now and growing like a weed. I think he learns a new trick weekly at this rate. This was a huge month for him developmentally.

7 Month Favorites::

Food - He has finally warmed up to baby food. He also is loving puffs and those dissolvable fruit/veggie sticks.

Climbing on EVERYTHING - nothing is safe anymore. He's an explorer.

Stats:: 

We don't go back to the doctor until 9 months

Height: ??

Weight: around 17 lbs

Teeth: None but lots and lots of drool!

Clothes: 6 month. Also some 6-9 month! I just went through his closet and got rid of a bunch of clothes that are too small. He is close to growing out of all the 6 month things, but the 9 month are still a little too big!

Signature Moves:: 

{Crawling}
He started crawling shortly after he turned 6 months old. He got up to his knees, started rocking back and forth and then put it all together and crawled within a week I think. Quick learner.

{Pulling Up}

He went from crawling to pulling himself up on things within another week. Now he climbs

Sleeping::

{Night time} 

 He pretty much sleeps through the night! We had a week this month where he was pretty sick and was waking up once but other than that he does 6:30pm-5:30(6)am most of the time!

{Naps}

We are still using the sleep schedule for the most part. Awake for 2 hour increments. He isn't sleeping as long anymore. They are more like 45 min - 1.5 hour naps these days. 2-3 naps a day depending on the length.

Eating::

He is still eating the Alimentium Hypoallergenic Formula. He does about 5 bottles during the day. He eats 6 oz bottles at each feeding.

{Christmas}

Christmas was really fun this year with Kaylee! Jordan was crawling and climbing all over the place and mostly just wanted to eat the paper. Kaylee had fun opening all his gifts :) They are spoiled kiddos!

We love you baby boy, more than you will know. You have so many people that just adore you! We are growing and learning so quick! I hope that you are always as adventurous and inquisitive as you are now!
